There is still time to celebrate New York’s 8th Annual Invasive Species Awareness Week (NYISAW) until Saturday, June 12. NYISAW promotes knowledge and understanding of invasive species by engaging citizens in a wide range of activities across the state, and empowering them to take action. Activities include interpretive hikes, volunteer workdays including invasive species removal and restoration projects, displays, webinars, radio and television programming, and more. For information on upcoming events and activities in your area, check out the NYISAW Events Calendar.
