The Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) announced the release of a Request for Proposals – Grants for Nonpoint Source (NPS) Pollution Control Projects Watershed-based Plan Implementation. DEP is inviting proposals for projects to help communities implement watershed-based plans to restore NPS-impaired water bodies or protect waters threatened by NPS pollution. DEP anticipates that $900,000 of Section 319 Federal Clean Water Act funds will be available and expects to award 8 to 14 grants with individual awards ranging from approximately $50,000 to $150,000.

Proposals must be submitted to the State of Maine Division of Procurement Services, via e-mail, to the following email address: Proposals@maine.gov no later than 4:00 pm, local time, on June 5, 2019.
