Posted by On Feb. 18, 2009, EPA’s Watershed Academy presented a Webcast entitled Green Roofs: Beautiful and Innovative Solutions to Storm Water Pollution. The Webcast provided an introduction to the issue of urban runoff and green roof technology. The expert presenters were, Steven W. Peck, founder and president of Green Roofs for Healthy Cities (GRHC), Robert D. Cameron from the Center for Green Roof Research at Penn State University, and Tom Liptan with Portland?s Bureau of Environmental Services. They discussed the benefits of green roofs and share their experiences as leaders in the green roof movement.
